FANS? I got fans!
i reciently bought 150 fans (40mm) size to make kits to sell. I got them for a crazy cheap price and if you could use the smaller ones i can hook you up. as far as ac adapters go, radio shack is good for local. But there are some web sites that have them for $2.00. let me know if you need the sites. Just make sure that you get an adapter that is powerful enough for the fans you want to power.
1 A = 1000 mA 300 mA = .3 A .008 A = 80 mA Nathan

info
if each fan is .26 A that is 260 milliamps (mA)
so you could run 5 fans off of a 1500mA (1.5A) ac adapter. if you only want to run 2 fans you could use a 600 mA ac adapter. As far as connectors.... cut them off. I would use heat shrink tube to seal out all water. slide it on, twist them together, heat it, and don't worry about it. Nathan

You could get a pair of 120 mm 12volt fans at compusa and then the adapter shown from radio shack. That is what I have. They are quiet and move a good bit of air.

James, if you are worried about low voltage adaptors and such, get a 110 volt fan. I got several 110 volt fans at Radio Shack. They might cost more though. No problems for years. I have one hole for the fan and one hole for the exhaust on the other side, and no other vents. It works like a champ. I have tried to convince people to use fans to keep it cool instead of a chiller for years, to the point I dont try anymore. I cover the inside of the hood with aluminum foil coated foam about 1/2inch thick, I think its called Celotex. Home Depot. I glue it in and seal the edges with shiny aluminum duct tape. It does not raise the temp hardly at all. The foam keep the hood from turning into a heat sink. The fan blows in cool air and the opposite side hole exhausts the heat. See Ya, Steve.

Thanks everyone. I think iam going to get the 120mm fans from the site listed above and get the adapter from radioshack.
Steve, I have very very little room around the bulbs and stuff so i dont think i can use the foam if i understood right but iam going to use the shinny duct tape. I plane to have one fan on the left side and one on the top middle. Thanks James
