My first Apple product

I ordered an Ipod and a FM transmitter. I bought one as a gift, and now am buying one for myself. Beerguy, be prepared for a bunch of "now how do I .....?" when I get it.

Yeah, be sure to have it identified before you put it into your tank as some of those isopods are really bad.

I bought the Ipod mini (blue). I know the price difference between it and the larger ones isn't much, but I stayed with the mini.

I like the size of those but carry around more music than that.

I can never think, in advance, what I want to listen to so I carry it all around.

Cool - you'll enjoy the heck out it.

Yeah, I will probably wish I had the larger one someday, but if I do, I can always find someone who wants the smaller one

Brian,

You'll love the Ipod. Mine is contantly in use. I have the ITrip as well and as long as you aren't in a hugely built up area you don't get a lot of interferance over the radio. A very enjoyable purchase. You will fill it fast. I have the 15 Gig and wish I had bought a larger one already.. lol

Enjoy it..

I'm just trying to help.

Interesting, however, that you should wonder about that. Do you think of me often?

I knew there would be posts telling me I should have gone bigger I don't know if I could ever find that many different songs I like to fill up the 4 gig, let alone one bigger

Like I said, I am sure I can always make someone happy if I decide I want a bigger one

The cool thing about the mini is that it's the size of a stack of credit cards. The controls are well thought out and the software is really good.

Jumbo the archos thing is fine if you want to lug it around and watch video. For music, you can't beat the ipod. All you have to do is look at the sales figures to see that.

I also have an Archos... Gmini 220. It is small and very cute. I wouldn't trade it for an Ipod.

Geesh people, I already have the ipod ordered. If you don't like them, that doesn't help me much.
