To soon to worry?

I have a frag of a green cap. from a club member during a trade. It has been in my tank for 4 days now and I see around the rim some little tiny areas turning white with a little bit of white skin hanging off. It that noraml and I shouldn't worry until it spreads, or should I cover the area with super gel glue now? Thank you all, James

James,
Give us some specs of your tank.
Lighting/flow/skimming etc.

I've had some caps dot white before but the flesh never hung off. I left it alone and it recovered.

I'm sorry I should have posted that. SG 1.025, temp always at 81, ammo 0, nitrite 0 , nitrate 5ppm, no phosphates, and the ph is 8.1
It is 10" from a 250w. MH 10k and 3 110watt VHO URI actinics.
It is getting I think high flow but not driect, it gets what is being bounced off the side tank. I hope that help. It just looks like a little part is white and has a white cottony fine thread hanging off it. Not real bad but I was worried.

caps are really tough. mine has been burned twice, acro's fall on it burn a big hole then it recovers a few weeks later by re growing over the burnd spot, mine is starting to look lumpy now.

watch it for a few days, it its moving ot other parts and not stoping/getting better start to worry and see what can be done then.
