Post Club Information

Western Wisconsin's Reef Club (WWRC),

Is a club made of local and non-local beginer and expert members around the La Crosse/Onalaska, WI area. Our club was formed to give hobbiest a place to communicate with others who shared the same interest and to provide a network of people a place to trade ideas, corals, and combine online orders.

I'm probably the La Crosse member that Petunia is taking about. The WWRC vanished about 2 years ago now, but there are still some former members and new reef keepers in the La Crosse area that I have been in contact with. Outside the La Crosse area, I know many others scattered throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.

I have two reef tanks (125gal & 45gal) with plenty of corals to trade/sell and I am always looking for more. Send me an e-mail at pogodzib@yahoo.com and I could help get you hooked you up with some La Crosse area reef keepers and pass on meeting info. The last time us La Crosse members got together was in September.

I got the e-mail and will be replying soon. I have all sorts of softies, mushrooms, zoos and LPS, with a few different types of SPS. Let me know if you want to be on my e-mail list with my other La Crosse area contacts for when we get together again.

For those of you that are in the Western Wisconsin/Tristate area, I'd suggest that (along with the RC forums) you check out the reef club forums on www.thereeftank.com There area various clubs from this part of the county there. Just to name a few:

La Crosse Area Reef Club (LARK)
Eau Claire Reef Club (ECRC)
Rochester Minnesota Marine Aquarium Society (RMAC)
Twin Cities Marine Aquarium Society (TCMAS)

I have been living in Sparta since July and have just w/in the last 2 weeks purchased a house here in the town so I'm here to stay. I would definately be interested in joining the club (that is if it's still up and running)

I currently have a 70 gallon w/ 10 gallon sump running and am in the process of putting together a 125 gallon dual overflow (missing skimmer, sump pump, and LS) and just need to pipe it all. It'll be quite the setup when complete as I'm going to have the 125 run with a 75 gallon sump in the basement and the 70 gallon tank will be run into the 75 gallon sump as well with an optional shutoff to be used as a quarantine tank or hospital if needed.

Anyhow... Please get in touch with me!

Thanks,

Jason

Jason - I don't think that you've gotten a hold of me yet regarding the La Crosse Area Reef Keepers (LARK). There are currently about 20-25 members of LARK that meet in the La Crosse area on a bi-monthly basis. I'll send you a PM about LARK.
