Hi Seabuzz,

I have to say that this is one of the strangest things that I have seen yet.

How long has it been hanging out? I would assume that it will come out by itself if it has not been in there a long time.

HTH

Doug

I know its not funny, but that is a first. i would let it pass or gently remove it with tweezers. Good Luck

Yea, in the nori.

That's what they all say!

That stuff is against a couple of commandments and several laws!

I'd give it a few days to work itself out. Then maybe net it and remove it gently.

or the rubber band might snag on a rock or something, causing the tang to panic and ya know the rest...

Sorry, but I'm laughing my !@# off!
I hope your fish is ok.

I can relate, something like this happened to me before.
It was my Doberman Pincher, not a fish, that had eaten a large plastic bag. I had to pull it out! Naturally she was quite thankful.

You may need to do the same. A bowel obstruction will kill the fish. Be gentle

Good luck!

My dog shattered one of those indestructible dog dishes and then proceeded to chew and eat the remaining pieces.

I had to help him out by pulling out the pieces that got stuck. Yuck!

Thank God for digital cameras.

I'd never believe it without seeing it.

Dogs yes, tangs no!

Let us know how it "all comes out"

Thanks!

ugh, I discovered $0.10 one day cleaning the litter box. It wasn't worth the ten cents for me to recover it.
I'd be REAL gentle when trying the tweezers, if it's wadded up in there, it might be bad if you just give it a tug.

Don't worry, this too shall soon pass!

Maybe feed him more often and see if will come out on its own, if not start a tuggin'.

Cool

On second thought, if you can catch him,
clip the rubber band into two pieces so it does not get hung up on anything.

Two things to add.

First, that is really sad. The poor thing.

Second, I am not sure if your fish has a name, but if not, I suggest you call that one "Stretch". ;^)

You wanna get rid of it? Just take the fish by my office and turn your back for a second. I guarantee it"ll no longer be there. This also works if he should ever swallow paper clips, toner, anything acually edible with my name on it, and the arts and leasure section of The New York Times.
