just pulled 3 nudibranchs off my colt coral
Nasty white ones. I had seen one in the tank a month or so ago but wasn't able to get him before he disappeared. Haven't seen one since until now. I noticed that one of the frags was looking, well, ookie, so I pulled it out and there they were, hidden in a crevice at the base. Just sucking the life out of it. I pried them out with a knife. I will keep a close eye on my colt which is probably the only coral in my tank that they would go after. I have mostly lps with a few mushrooms, zoas, and the colt frag. there seem to be a lot more pests in tanks than there used to be about 5-6 years ago. Maybe I was just lucky back then.

I had bought a colony of clove polyps from live aquaria and found 3 of those guys in the bag so I got rid of them...when the coral made it to the display tank it looked great, then after a couple months started to look pretty bad...I took it out, put it in a smal tupperware with water and went through each individual polyp with tweezers and pulled out 35 of em...They are good at eluding people!!! This was all in vain because they ended up destroying the colony and after I found them crawling on the glass because they had no more food source...I also have a colt and various other softies but was lucky that I think that they were specific feeders to that particular organism, well so far so good anyways, haha.
