I just got done with my 180, I used rustoleum flat black spray paint and I couldn't be happier. I've rolled it on in the past, but it was less hassle with the spray paint. Hope this helps.

same here, just plain old black spray paint. Do it where there's no wind, or overspray will give you gray hairs.

I used acrylic paint and a brush. took like 8 coats but looks perfect

If you're spraying, I suggest covering the top with plastic and taping it down along the top to avoid getting paint spatter inside.

thanks i would like to spray it sounds like it would come out better then rolling it on, the only prob is i put the tank on the stand in my house already but i will have to take the tank back off anyway.
