Fish at the swap??

I realize this is a FRAG SWAP but the last one I came to had some people selling fish as well. Anyone here bringing livestock or know of people who might be?

If I remember correctly, Rod's Reef was there last time, or at least someone selling clownfish was.

mainly of the smaller variety like gobies, blennies, etc.. if I get any clowns at all they will not be standard ocelarus, I would consider black ones though..

If Matt comes (Sustainable Aquatics), he'll likely have all types of clowns (maroon, black ocellaris, orange ocellaris, percula, tomato, cinnamon, etc.). He also raises some gobies, I think...

Matt may come, but will not be selling fish. He now supplies all the LFSs in the area. The LFSs on the other hand, will likely offer some special deals that day for folks who attend the swap. I'll see if I can get some specifics on that.

I didnt raise them. Im not sure if they are tank bred, but I know they are tank raised. I have 5 or 6 I could bring, but only bring if they are sold. There is one or 2 pairs of them too in those. I think I have 2 or 3 males and the rest are females.

$15 a piece?

OK -- some partial info. The Aquatic Critter will be there selling oscellaris clowns @ $10. They will also have a bunch of zoos an Hydor Koralias at deep discounts.

I had talked to Matt & he said he thought they would have some black clowns more than likely & they would probably around 40.00 unless they run a swap special. He will be at the critters table.

Actually I think I'll pass. I was thinking of putting them in with my seahorses but I don't think I need any more fish in there. Thanks anyway.

what was the point of that reply? You sure are one to stir the pot. A LFS supports the local frag swap and sells clowns for $10 and you come in on your high horse degrading them as if that's gouging.

WTH is your problem??? I was stating a fact, not raggin on anybody. I think you need to step off your high horse and dont assume somebody is meaning something by something they posted, cause you know what assuming things makes you like....

When Matt sold clowns at the last 2 swaps, (the ones I have been to) + other swaps like the Chattanooga swap, he sold them for $10. A very good price, IMO, for great fish. I've got a pair in my tank

Personally, I am amazed at the price AC is charging (keeping it the same from previous years). They are really pulling out all the stops for us at the swap, and are part of helping us make it a great one.

What exactly do you mean by "tank raised?" Are they tank raised like the kellogii seahorses you see around?
