Sumping
I guess I'm going to have to build a sump. What's the best way guys? I trust your advice more than you know. Should I go glass or acrylic? Where do I go to get the supplies? Which is harder to do - glass or acrylic? All opinions are appreciated.
With my stand - I can go 11 to 12 inches deep X 16 to 17 inches tall X 30 to 40 inches long. I really want to setup a tank with: skimmer / refugium / return pump. I would like to have room to put a couple of TLF reactors for Phosphate and carbon media. So what do you think?

It depends on your skillset and toolset.
Glass is heavy and takes some skill to glue up... But you can have your glass shop cut the pieces and ease the edges for your. Acrylic is much lighter but takes more skill to glue up. The Acrylic will be cheaper in the long run. You will need to have the proper tools to cut it and work with it. |

personally Id go with an acrylic..because uyou can pretty much build the entire thing with basic tools, and its alot cheaper. but its a bit more labor intensive.
