over feeding?

I am just trying to find out if I am over feeding my fish. I currently have two fish, a 1" clown and a 5" Niger Trigger. I feed them every day consisting of half a cube of Prime Reef and half of a frozen Krill or Silverside depending on the day. I drop it in the tank via a cut medicine dropper so the fish have time to eat some before I drop the rest. Is this to much, not enough, or just right? Thanks for the help.

Sounds about right to me. Do you have a clean up crew or will the trigger demolish it?

I have hermit crabs and a variety of snails as well as a long spine urchin. He hasn't ate any of those guys yet and I am thinking of getting a serpent star and a sand sifting star.

I agree with snorvich that it sounds good. I'd leave off the sand sifting star - it will clean out helpful benthic life and then slowly starve. BTW, beautiful lionfish, but be careful [as you're probably aware] just saw a show on Discovery [or Science Channel] about a doctor stung by his lionfish - months of problems

I Like your pillar arrangement, esp. considering your choice of fish.

Yea I knew that I wanted big swimmers such as Tangs and Triggers so that's why I went with the pillars. Plus with the pillars I can get my SPS closer to the light to aid in growth (I hope). I just got my micro bubble issue resolved so I will be posting pics very soon. Thanks for the help guys/gals.

I think that is a good amount, as long as everything you put in your tank is eaten by something, then you are good.
