Do you need it to be permanently straight? Or just straight to work with? You could either heat it up a little bit and work with it. Or you can just start rolling it in the opposite direction of the natural curve.

I just finished doing this last week. You can heat it over the stove, rolling it back and forth so it doesn't burn.

Then hold it in the shape you want while you cool it under cold water from the sink.

Just curious (no offense intended)...if you need it straight...why use flex in the first place?

I put a piece of hard wood in it and left it. It took a lot of the spring out of it. You could help it out by using a blow dryer over it or through it.. Not a heat gun.

Heat it up if you can and use a broom handle.

Run hot water in the tube and let soak. Take 1" PVC and put it inside the 1 1/2" Flex PVC, let sit overnight.

In the summer, stick a broom handle or piece of PVC in it and lay it in the sun.
