serpent star question

I just put in my tank 3 serpent star 2 red and 1 tiger, does these stars can be used as CUC? Can i have the 3 without problems in a 75 gals tank? I have a couple of brittle star that came with the LR,,Just dont want to overstock the inverts.

If you don't mind target-feeding them, most brittle stars are fine. The green ones tend to be more predatory. They will eat leftover food, but I don't think they're very useful as cleanup crew, since there's already a lot of animals going after leftover food, and there shouldn't be much, anyway.

That should be fine. Just make sure they get food, or they might become more predatory.

That's a lot IMO. I had a brittle and a serpent in a 210 gallon and was worried they'd get enough to eat. I put them both in my 450 gallon last week.

The brittle starfish I had was happy to come out and grab food from my hand. If you don't mind doing that, they should be okay. I did wear gloves, by the way.

i made a food stick that i can use for that purpose, but do they have to be feed daily? i dont mind to do it but just in case.

I suspect weekly feeding is fine. Just watch the animals' condition.
