Maybe one of those stupid sps questions!

I just recently sold my leathers and mushrooms to make room for my venture into sps corals..I completely changed flow within my tank, upgraded my skimmer and added ozone to make sure my water params are good...now that I feel my tank is stable enough and my attention to my tank is strong enough...
What do I feed these guys!! I would really like to know a foundation before I start to buy/add them...
I have studied that aminos are great and should be added..ok will do..
Then I hear so many different things regarding the feeding, I just can't seem to narrow it down..Coral Frenzy,Sweetwater Zooplankton, fish poop, Reef Chili, Reef Roids, nothing, DIY mixes..On and On...Everybody says thiers is the best.....
I currently feed Cyclopeze frozon to my lps...but to me they seem to big..
I tried to search, but the search never works!!
So I thought I would post and get a general idea what you guys use...

Thanks for your help through this maze!!

Normally, SPS don't need to be fed if you have adequate lighting and a well stocked population of fish. If you do decide to feed, I'd suggest Coral Frenzy.

I do have a good fish population..that is what brought around the more flow and the larger skimmer/ozone..I thought I would have to be more aggressive in the waste removal..I currently have 250 MH and 150 MH and dual 55w PC 50/50..and next week will be removing the 150 MH and replacing with another 250..This is all on a 90g..so I figure that should be enough lighting..
Do you guys shut down any of your skimmers to promote feeding or keep it on a constant run??
Thanks

you can feed them Light, fish poop and most important is to pay attention to water levels Mag ALk/CAl temp ETC... It all plays a factor in what some would consider feeding there SPs. i never feed anything but some day i may try it again
Good luck on your venture

Michael

No feeding required as they get most of their growth through the use of light. As long as you provide the corals with stable Alk/Calc/Mg parameters, they will grow like crazy.

So far it seems water params and lighting are the key essentials..take care of that and the tank takes care of the sps...
Thanks guys for taking the time...Its my main problem I tend to over think every step..

Do SPS get nitrogen from fish poop? I mean, is that the main poop nutrient or is it carbon (or both)?
