vho vs. no

how much difference is there with vho and no lighting? they will be used for actinics. i want switch all 4 of my bulbs to 10k 250w but want some blue added. there is a big difference in the prices of each.

I run the ones that arent vho on my 75 and they work well everything glows at night its cool.

do you just use the same bulbs? where can you get regular actinic bulbs

you should be able to get NO actinics at any Jack's store. Coral Life and Hagen would be the most popular brands. If you just want them for color NO would be fine. If your looking for the wattage boost, then vho is what your looking for. 4' NO=36-40 watts, 4' vho=110 watts.

I have a couple extra ballasts laying around for the t8 atinics or t12 thebig bulbs I like the atinics in them I bought blasts to put them on my 120 and then didnt put them on. let me know if your interested.
