Red Firefish Compatibility

I have heard a ton of different takes on keeping a pair of firefish together so I want to hear everyone else's expert opinions. I currently have a 75g reef tank with all water parameters in check (trates are a little high but I'm working on that). I added one red firefish last week and he is doing very well.

My current stocklist

1 red firefish
1 blue devil damsel (what a b****)
3 yellow fin damsels
1 orange false perc clown
1 black perc clown
1 flame angelfish (very nice to my corals for a change)
1 purple tang (about 3")

I would like to add the 2nd firefish, but I have heard that it will not work at all, and that if there are no more than 2 you should be ok.

Let me know what you think. The tank is about 4 months established with a 3" livesand bed and about 75-90lbs of liverock (all covered with coraline).

wow, thqat's a lot of damsels!

my guess is either a damsel of the other firefish would beat it up =(

I would not want to be that Firefish in your tank, that's for sure!

Adding another firefish can create some issues. Safe yourself some trouble and get another semi aggressive fish.

no way...you have all those fish in a 29 gallon, including the tang???

Well, he clearly stated they are in his 75 gallon reef, not his 29. With the current inhabitants however, I would advise against a second firefish.

Those are in my 75. My 29 is sitting empty with nitrates around 300 I'm getting ready to do a 50% water change on the 29 and get some live rock for it now that my funds are a little better
