Bubbleking Owners ??

What's the deal with BK skimmers if you need parts? Is it truly as bad as some people say? I heard someone waited a year for a collection cup. That's scary. I am considering the new 250 model for my new 300 SPS? I would love to hear from you.

FWIW, I changed my mind on a skimmer because of the possibility that if I needed parts, I could get them rather quickly. With that said, if there is a doubt in your mind, go for something with avaiable parts.

Previously I was an MRC owner for a long time, for skimmers and a calcium reactors. Never needed parts. I hope my choice in skimmers this time around holds up like the MRC products.

Proline Aquatics is the US distributor for Royal-Exclusiv and they have all parts that can be sent to the Retailers for replacement to the end-users. You can ask that question over here and get it straight from them!!!

JUST dropped in my BK Mini180. Not too much can go wrong except pump failure? It's kickin butt big time.
A real beast. Now I'm gonna research the parts.

The only thing that would worry me about BK skimmers is that getting pump replacement might be impossible in a couple years. I know BK is moving to new DC pumps so i'm not sure if they will still make old replacement pumps.

parts are guaranteed for 10 years and for the price of a pump hopefully it will last just as long if taken care of

@USC-fan..

Royal-Exclusiv guaranteed 10 Years for Parts of all RE-Products.
When we switched to DC-Pumps, the new Pumps have the same dimensions of the Standart Red Dragon Pumps, ...the same Pumphead and the same Performance.... only the speedadjustable Motorblock is new....

regards. Klaus
