epoxy

I just got a torch coral and i have a flat rock in the middle of my tank that i want to put the torch on and put epoxy on the bottom of it to make it stand up like a tree, (if you can picture that). =)
Whenever I try to use epoxy it never works for my frogspawn and gorgonian. How do you get it to work???

Thanks

Drill a hole in the rock and put the "trunk" into the hole with some apoxy to hold it in.
