Just playing around with a new lense.

I know nothing about the camera and all the adjustments so critiques are OK. The picture is very grainy, but it's a start.

looks like a good pic just blown up to big. You may have cropped it to much. Did you use a tripod?

I think this may be the same picture, definately the same coral. They are all coming out grainy.


It a Rebel XT 8.1 with a Sigma EX 105mm lense. I really need to take some kind of class to explain this thing to me.

What is your ISO? Seems like it may be too high. I'm not an expert by any means, but I think you'd get a better result if you can manage to take that shot with an ISO of 100.

ISO isn't even in my vocabulary. I'll figure this thing out eventually.
