Reef crystals users...

What Ca, Alk, and Mg does your salt come up with at 1.025? Are people happy with this salt?

Please no comments on other salts. I am specifically looking for information and feedback on reef crystals. Thanks.

I haven't got the readings with me but I think that cal came in at 320 and although alk seemed ok it dropped real quick with time. I use tropic marin now

I haven't tested my new SW but I am very pleased with this salt. I switched over to IO for a little bit and I started to get diatoms, then I switched back and they went away. My corals are doing great with this salt.

I usually get a Ca of around 350, and alk of around 10. Not sure about Mg.

Take a look at this thread. Lots of discussion on RC levels of late.

I'm using IO right now, but when I used RC my Ca was 360, and alk was 9 dkh, give or take .5. I don't have Mg readings though.

As a reference, with the IO, I'm getting 340Ca and 10-11dkh alk.

mag is at 1350. Dkh is 10.5 or so. Calcium I always got around 400. This is all tested on a newly mixed batch

Thanks for the link. I still have a lot of IO left, but I might switch to RC depending on how this situation plays out.
