Fragging a Merulina Ampliata

I am thinking about fragging my Merulina Ampliata (SPS). It is about 5" x 7". Any suggestions and advice on how to frag this piece will be appreciated (e.g., what tools do I need, what size frags would be best, shape of the frags, how long can it be out of water, how long to heal, etc.).

Thanks,

Mitch

tools to use would be bone cutters or dremel, between 1 and 2 inch depends how much you want to frag off. kinda squarish but it you cut with the bone cutters it will break on a plane that will folow no certian contour. usually can be out of water for about 5 mins with out being harmed, but it is different for every coral. usualy wait about 5 to 7 days before i glue newly cut frags of sps. i would say also to just cut off the plating part on the second pic and let the nubs on the top grow up.
