Picking an Acrylic Tank

Please forgive me, my I sticks with my IK at times.

I am shopping for a 400-500 gallon acrylic to replace my glass 225. I iknow name of Tenecor and have priced them, and spoke with two sellers of them. Heard good things and most info I find is good. I however have seen some others a tad cheaper on same size, but not really much of a price difference when ya factor, shipping, overflows and such.
Is all acrylic the same ? Is it up to the guy who puts tank together to maike sure that it is done right, and who does it the best ?/

Any and all info on this would be very helpful.
Thaniks

well acrylic lasts the longest as long as it's sealed properly.. depending on the size and make they can come build it there or you can have it pre-built. there's a lot of plus and minus things to each... th ebiggest is acrylic lasts like 30+ years or something you can drill it yourself so you save money there. but it scractches way wasier than glass which can be a down side if it's in a active area of the house or you are active in the tank. i would find a local fish store that can suggest a good tank builder locally.

I don't know where you are located, but check out www.envisionacrylics.com

They have my personal recommendation and I'm sure you wouldn't have to look too hard in the large tank forum to find others who would recommend his tanks.

i would choose either james at envision or chris at midwest custom aquriums. either one will build you an awesome aquarium that will last a life time.

you should check with chris at midwest custom aquariums. he is in minnesota so the shipping would be alot cheaper. or you could make a road trip here to get it. its not that far away. it could save you alot in shipping charges.

Spazzz,
Only midwest I have found online is out of IL, would this be them ?

If you can link me it would be great. If you cant no biggy, I will keep looking. Wasnt ordering till after first of year, and James is 8 weeks out after order date anyways, so as many know, isnt anything happening anytime soon.

Thanks all for info, I had no luck on IHI or the other one that was last suggested. Info to a # or local would be great.
