external pool pump

does anyone use a pool pump that would be fairly equal to a sequence hammerhead? if so how does it work? if not recommended..why? thanks..

seals may not be able to handle saltwater.

there are saltwater pools. becoming more and more popular down here....not too sure if there are special pool pumps for saltwater only.

The saltwater pools have a very low salt content, not even close to true saltwater. As for the pumps my pool guy told me that in general they aren't very efficient. I decided this year to turn the pumps off for the winter to save on electric costs. We're going to clean it out once a month; brush, shock, vacuum and run the pumps for the day.
