anyone have an old 14k or 20k 175w MH laying around?
I want to try something out but i'd like to test it out before actually buying any bulbs. anyone have an old 20k or 14-15k 175W SE MH bulb that I could borrow for a couple of days? Doesn't have to be a bulb with useful life anymore, just has to light up.

thanks, but i'm looking to try out something bluer. i've got 4 10k bulbs on my tank now and i'd like it a bit bluer. I can power 2 more bulbs with my existing hardware and was curious to see if adding one 20k or maybe a 15 to each side would give me an even enough blue before buying outright. given the length of the tank i'm not sure it would work out or not.

Sounds like a cool idea and I would guess that if you played around with the placement that you could come up with some good effects.

I think so, but it would really be nice to find out before springing for a new bulb
