Mag pump in or out?

I have my Mag pump submerged in my sump for various reasons. I was just wondering what other people are doing... External or submerged.

I have heard several people say that mag are notorious to leak. Keep it in the sump.

I have always used them internal. I have also heard of them leaking when used externally....but have never done it.

That was actualy one of my reasons for putting mine in the sump. I used to have it external, but It was leaking so I put it in the sump.

Insump also. Just because I'm afraid of leaks. Adds mega heat though.
