|
best lighting for 30"x30" tank?
i was looking for a 8x24" tek t5 light fixture w/ no luck. does anybody have recommendations lighting this tank..
its going to be 30"lx30"wx20"h

A 250W lumenarc would do a good job or a Giesemann 24in fixture would rock it out. Here is a link they are on clearance.

id go with a lumenarc and a 400w aquaconnect 14k on an icecap. maybe throw a pair of t5s on the front and back and go with a 250

sfiligoi xr4 or xr6 would cover a 30x30 perfectly and you would have MH + 4 T5's

A single Lumemarc with a 250W bulb would be fine for a 20" deep tank. Maybe consider a 400 Watt bulb if you plan to use a 20K bulb.

Oh man, I thought this was 30 deep lol. 250 will work fine.
