New Yellow Piece - Carolina?

Picked up a sweet acro colony. To me it almost looks like a carolina but I can't recall off the top of my head what they had it named. I'll have to check the receipt. I couldn't get a great picture of it, but it is literally a blinding yellow similiar to a pastel. It's been in the tank for about 2 months so the color hasn't shifted since then.

Now if I could find some room.

I find it somewhat difficult to find yellow corals beside milli's and plating ones. I think that is one of my favorite colors.

They had one like that which was more green. Beautiful piece as well. How is the growth on it speed wise?

Jay I have it mid to bottom and it grows slow compared to other critters.

"deepwater" kind of growth. HTH.

Thanks. I have it about halfway and I'll see how the color shifts in my tank. Hopefully it keeps the nice yellow.

Got it at a fish store in Tampa, FL. I'm from the Orlando area so I thought I'd stop at a few fish stores while I was at a Microsoft conference. Price wasn't bad at all considering the size. Now just to look for some more pinks now.

Fish and other ichthy stuff. It is in oldsmar. They have quite a bit of corals. There was two other pieces there that looked really nice but they do have alot of smaller frags of stuff also.

Did you get that the other day? or today? You were able to capture some of its sheen. It almost is a glowing yellow.

I was there yesterday around 1:00
He had 2 of them. Mine is more on the yellow/green side. almost like neon. If I can figure out how to work the white balance on the camera I will take a better shot.

Ok I picked mine up at 4 pm. I can see where it isn't a carolina. I will try to get a top down shot because front view just doesn't give it justice. That is a nice piece too twon. If you ever decide to frag it, let me know.
