insump algae

which in-sump algae is good for beginner,Mangrove, chaco or Macro?

how much I need in my 20G sump for 30G display tank?

who has some to split or sell? I am in East Bay area (berkeley, concord, oakland).

I don't know which is best, but I think Chaeto is one of the most commonly used because it won't go nuts and take over your tank.

You just need to start with a little ball and it should grow pretty fast under the right conditions.

Most use Cheato since it grows fast, a good nutrient scrubber, DOSN'T go Sexual and dosn't overtake the tank, and can be used for vegitarian food ( TANGS ).

Mangroves are nice but dont scrub nutrients as much as other macros..

Caulerpa, can overtake a tank, go sexual but is a good scrubber of nutrients..

some one please correct me if i'm wrong..
