how far down in the water should they be ? I got 7 to 8 inch seedlings . They have roots and 2 leaves. right now I have the leaves about 1.5-2 inches above water. I see at the bottom a red color, should that be the marker of the water level?

i have mine where the leaves are about 3-4" above the water. also you need to make sure the roots have something to anchor to.

I have them in Pom tea cups with sand at the bottom. I just lowered my water level in my tank because I think they where to deep with in the water.

I think it don't matter as long as the leaf is above the water then it ok, that what I have my for the past 2 years. Also don't buy them from the lfs, get them from ebay, it much cheaper.
Thanks
