Anemonia Viridis
Anybody familiar with this type of anemone? I used to find them as a kid in the Mediterranian. I would like to keep 1 or 2 in a tank, but I can't find much info on the web as far as their needs. Water temp and such.

They are quite hardy but they have a really strong sting and may catch fish.

Do they need cool water or is 78-80F fine for them? I do remember their stinging ability. But they are such a good looking anemone and I have never seen one here in any of the LFS.

They can tolerate high temperatures as they live very close to the shores. I saw a dozen of them at a lfs yesterday but since I am from Turkey you can even collect them your own over here easily.
