help finding a cheapo desktop PC

MRS B & I are looking for a cheapo desktop system for a christmas gift for the kids (son & DIL that are expecting)
neither one is computer savvy, mostly it will be used for light web browsing & emailing pictures of the new kiddo

this part of the world is not heavy with discount electronics reatilers...

does anyone know of any online retailers with any great deals on a complete starter system, I'm sure I've got a spare printer for them, but no extra monitors at the moment

mrs santa & I thank you in advance

**oops**
**EDIT**
fixed!

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Honestly though, are you sold on a desktop or would a laptop do? Price range? Costco had decent laptops for about $600 right now.

I ARE LISTENING!!

thanks for the suggestions, I'm giving them a look-see
we've already spent a more $$ (than I'm supposed to know about) on the kids & grandkid already, and have parents & other kids to shop for, so as cheap as we can find is exactly the budget

I hear you. We've already spent WAY too much $$$ and still have a few folks to buy for.

But, hey! As long as you have checks, you have money, right?
