leftover food in fridge?

i have trouble breaking up those frozen mysis cubes and i usually end up throwing out whats left defrosted.
so can i save the leftovers in the back of the fridge for about 6 hours?
the defrosted mysis is in a little cup with the tanks saltwater

6 hours is the max that i would leave it in the fridge, i will toss it after their last feeding each night

Mysis begins to break down rather quickly so it would be much safer for your horses to only thaw enough for one feeding at a time.

What Janet said FWIW... I find it's much less waste to use the 'flat packs' rather than cubes. That way you can break off/cut off the exact amount you want/need and the rest goes right back in the freezer.

Short anwser no, you can't refriderate thawed food.

How many horses do you have. IME I have fed a cube per pair up to three times daily.

Depends more on your filtration and what the tank can handle.

Yeah the flat packs help prevent waste. Try that out.
