Need help fast!!!!!!!!

Just broke down a tank yesterday and while breaking it down one of the pieces of the overflow broke. My question is how long will live rock live in a the box. It is packed exactly like the rock you would recieve on-line. I'm having a hard time finding the piece so I may not be able to get it tommorow. Thanks Tim What can I do in the meantime to keep the rock alive?

Put the rock in a rubbermaid tub with a powerhead for circulation until you get the tank fixed. The LR will have more die off the longer out of the water, I would get it in water asap. (make sure the parameters of the water are right.)
