Bang for the buck..acan worth the dollar

hey guys i grabbed this acan collony about 9inches long by 4 inches wide with about 130 polyps on it about 110 fully grown so i purchased from a local guy who had it outgrow his nano and sold it to me for 250 plus the shipping. Is this a good price with it coming to about $2 a polyp. Now color plays a strong role and i KNow this is not a rare or major color but was it a good deal?

In reality it has a red/orange alternating stripe and a dark green center. these color arived duller but they are coloring up. Sorry for the pic but its my newest so far. I know the glass needs work

yeah so hopefully its a good situation right now and even better since this thing produces Tons of small babies every couple weeks. I guess whats left is to get the color to come out. I will put new bulbs in this weekend.

Wow, I have a few of those kinds of colonies with polyps in the 100 range, who would have known they'd be worth this kind of scratch!

But I couldn't sell mine, 100g tank can't argue an outgrow on this
I do frag them and give them away periodically though.

As for your piece, it's worth it if you like it though.
If you're going to pull a chop-shop routine, then meh..

If you feel that it is slightly pricey, than just wait for a couple of months than your colony will grow to your level of satisfaction and even further once you start selling. I believe you have a good investment.
