Pickling Lime

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but where do I buy pickling lime ????? No stores in my town have it. Any help would be appreciated.

You can buy Mrs Wages pickling lime online. I bought kalk (lime)from twopartsolutions.com, it was cheaper after shipping, for me.

try checking in the isle with the baking goods. That's where my grocer has theirs stocked. Wal mart carries it.

most grocery stores have it in the canning section, usually its less than a dollar for 16 oz...
thats alot cheaper than Kalkwasser!
1 tsp. per gallon, let it settle for 24 hrs before use.
i syphon out the mixture down to an inch above the settled lime and use it.
i wash out the container and make more for later use.

When you do find it, buy 10 years worth. The shelf life is nearly infinite and as mentioned, the price is actually less than dirt (by volume).

We should take the lable off the can and put Reef Food and sale it for $40 =-) JK It is amazing how things are priced.
