sorry but I have a newbie question

Sorry again but I am thinking of setting up a 36gal corner tank, thinking means probably going to happen soon. That is as long as the wife doesn't find out how much it will cost. Well my question is what kind of anemone would fit good in this tank. I will be running one 250 watt MH along with one or two 65watt pc. I have a false prec that I have had for three years that will be going in the tank. Would it be ok to add another one or do you think they will just fight. I hope to get this tank up and running by the end of the year. I just want to get everything firgured out before I start. BTW the tank will have a sump/refugium under it, along with a tunze nano skimmer. Thanks for any help!

IMO, i'd upgrade the skimmer, but your lighting is great. And as for anemones, i'm sorry to say, but your tank may be too new to support the needs of an anemone. Anemones are very demanding and require stability, experienced care, and a lot of precise water conditions. Make sure your tank is cycled, wait a few months, and mebbe (key is mebbe) add another fish or 2 in the process.

As for the clown, it should be okay, percs aren't very aggresive. What i'd do is take a guppy breeder, turn it upside down, and put the new clown in there temporarily, i did it and it helps the old perc get used to the new one. (they did the submissive dance thru the container haha!)

6 months of waiting is a minimum recommendation for anemones, for a first i would go with a BTA they look good will host clowns (but not definitely) and they are fairly cheap
