what is this stuff on my lobo PIC
It is white and stringy. the coral came in really shrunk up and the skeleton was piercing through and for about a week when it was healing the pierced spots had the same thing. now i fed it last night (mysis) and the same stuff seems to be coming out of all the mouths that ate.
is this some sort of reaction/excretion lps have And a pic of it yesterday without the stuff |

I think it's just expelling waste, especially if it happened after feeding.

Is it those worms that come attached to corals? Christmas Tree worms, I think they're called.

those are messinary filaments, which are caused by stress, aggression, and sometimes viewed when feeding.. the pic it looks like it is stressed and or angry.. i would check water params, flow..ect.. something is bothering it..

Just to clarify, the spelling would be "mesenteric filaments". I agree that's what they look like and that they're a response to stress a lot of times (probably from transit stress since it sounds like you just got it). Reef3r, just to let you know, Xmas tree worms are found on Porites and other species of hard corals (SPS), not LPS like this lobophyllia, and they look a little different.
