Tek t5 fixture FS

I have a 6x54 watt tek t5 fixture for sale. Fixture is in good condition. It comes with 6 bulbs that have 10 months of use on them. The bulbs last 18 months before they need to be changed. The bulbs that come with the fixture are as follows: 3 ATI Aquablue specials (11k bulbs), 2 ATI Blue Plus bulbs, and 1 Actinic 03 bulb
Send me a pm if you're interested.
I'm in Fort Collins.
$200
and I will throw in a pink millepora frag and a blue tip tenuis frag for whoever buys it. So if you have to drive from somewhere like Denver, the frags will cover gas.

Here are some pictures:

If you have a halide setup for trade I would be interested.

Not quite....I'm trading my MH for his T5s, so it's an even draw

Will be my first time trying out T5s!

only time will tell. good luck. dont get me wrong, i am not down on t5 at all. i have just noticed a few people drop the mh for t5 and wind up going back to mh again.

So far I do like them, although I don't particularly like the color combo they are at the moment. The tank is also experiencing a huge explosion of bright green algae which leads me to think it needs new bulbs anyway.

My BTA's seem to be doing well, although they don't look as pretty as they did with the 20K mh's. I also miss the shimmering effect of the mh as well.

Before I can really say I'm a big fan of T5 over mh, I need to change the bulbs and improve the water quality to get rid of the algae bloom.

I'll resurrect the thread again in a couple of months when I have a better feel for the lights.

Im glad they are doing well for you. If you want that 20k look buy 5 ATI Blue Plus bulbs (BLUE) and 1 ATI Aquablue special (11k).

I like them. I'm like you though, I'm undecided on which I like better.
