New tank

I've waited 5 years...it's only 5 days old...they grow up so fast

I need id's on two different things on my rock. See pics attached

Halimeda is the algae, and the other appears to be anthelia (possibly xenia) a fast growing soft coral that if left unchecked can take over the whole tank.

Hang on there Clamgal,

The tank is only five days old and you are already stocking it? That seems abit quick to me. How about reading my New Tank Thread and taking a breather before you are disappointed.

I'm not stocking. I only added live rock. The stuff was attached when I bought it. Should I take it out? I wasn't even thinking of keeping corals - not even close to knowing how to take care of them. I will stock mostly reef safe fish and maybe an anemone or two in the far future.
