tang in an 80g?

what tang could i put in an 80g? it wont have much rock in there either.. the diams are 48x16x24 lxwxh

how about a bristletooth of some kind? kole, tomini or chevron?

ya i would try a yellow tang.. small regal tang. scopas tang . yellow eye kole tang. somethin along those lines.

i think the kole or tomini are the coolest looking of the smaller tangs... well the purple, but they are expensive!

my vote is yellow tang - in this context can;t be beaten for colour, shape, activity or hardiness.

if you are going for soemthing else solid yellow, then my second vote goes to the kole.

PBTs need a six foot tank. Do a search, that's not the only thread that covers the topic. I have a 90 and PBTs are my favourite but I am passing on it as it wouldn't be right. They are very hard to keep.

Tomini. They are small and not seen as often in the trade.

Spotted Kole tangs are really nice!!! I have a yellow eyed Kole Tang in my 75G, he is very active, and always looking for something to eat!!!


There is a pic of a spotted Kole Tang in this thread. I kind of wish I would have waited to get one.

I agree, something along the lines of Yellows, Koles, Tominis, or even a Purple.
