Twist lock flange help
I'm working on finalizing the plans for my DIY skimmer, and I'm at the point where I need to send my CNC guy plans on what I want done.
The biggest problem I am having is figuring out how to draw the twist lock flange. I don't want to use the thumbscrew method, but rather the one with the ramps. Similar to the Deltec style. Any good artists out there that can give me a hand? Thanks, Matt |

That thread was extremely helpful, but the CNC Machinist needs drawings of what I'm looking for and I can't figure out how to accurately draw the ramps. The pics in that thread won't show up for me.

You can download dolphin cad/cam and easily draw these. Make sure all your line segments are joined or it will not convert to the machine code without a whole bunch of work. If your machinist is asking for a completed cam file then you will need to know alot more about his machine and tooling. Don |
