October FMAS meeting
Next Tuesday, October 23rd at 7:15 FMAS will be holding our monthly meeting at the New River Middle School Library (3100 Riverland Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312). This month we have Jeff Brigman coming to speak with us about photography techniques. Jeff is an amazing photographer and is sure to teach everyone a few tricks. Please feel free tp bring your cameras to the meeting! After the speaker we will be holding out monthly auction. Please bring any livestock you may have to make this months auction a great success.
The school reef tank is on the upswing, but still has a ways to go to becoming a show piece. The entire plumbing system has been redone along with a new 400w light in the center of the tank. The tank is now ready for coral and we ask that members that may have a softy or LPS frag for the tank please bring it to donate to the school tank. At 6:00 before the meeting we will be holding a frag swap committee meeting. We ask that all those interested in helping with the next frag swap in February try to attend.

You don't need to be a member to attend the general meetings, you are welcome to come to the meeting as many times as you wish. If you wish to join you could fill the attached application and bring it with you or mail it.
