Looking for ID w/Pics

Found a few new critters on some newly added rock to my aquarium... Just wondering what they were and if they were reef safe. One is some sort of star, the other some kind of worm, and the other is ?

First up: Mr. starfish...

Next up: Mr. wigglesworth

Last but not least: Mr. & Mrs. Whoknowswhat

The first one looks like a mini brittle star. It should be reef safe. I wouldn't worry about it. The last picture looks like a Hydroid. You will get these and then they disappear.

Does the one in the third picture retract? If it does then it is a feather duster. If it stays out then it is probably a hydroid.

I saw these three things in the pics:

1) A baby brittle star. Reef safe, no problems here.

2) a bristleworm. Also reef safe. I wouldn't worry about these until they get a couple of feet long Excellent denitrius (sp?) eaters.

3) A small feather duster (tube worm). Also reef safe. A filter feeder, which are good things for your tank. Watch out, some fish love to snack on these little guys. My Rock Beauty Angel ate every single one he could find in my tank in the first 24 hours I had him and I had at least 50-60 of them Now I only have a dozen of them or so, and they are only there because they are in places the angel can't get to.

All pics show good things to have in your tank. In general, I were you, I would be worried if I did not see things like worms ect. Seeing these things in your tank is a good sign that your tank is healthy! Enjoy

This is what one of my rocks looked like before I got my angel:

The rock was completely eaten one day after I got my Rock Beauty Angel. He is my favorite fish in my tank, but the pooper ticked me off that day. Well, at least I knew he was healthy and happy

thats a relief, was thinking that the last pictures were Aptasia. After looking at the rock again today i noticed that there are about 4 or 5 stars hanging out in the cracks with 1 or 2 tentacles sticking out. Thanks for the ID's!

I can relate. My first tank had some beautiful feather dusters popping out of the holes. Then came the flame angel...
