anyone try the new iwasaki 250W DE 14K bulb?

I currently have phoenix DE 250W bulbs and love them, but I know that iwasaki's new 14k aqua2 bulbs are getting awesome PAR values (at least the 175W bulb). Just wondering if anyone has tried the 250W double ended bulb yet and what they think.

I would like to know as well. Does anyone know if Sanjay has tested these bulbs yet? I'm currently running reeflux 10k DE's on IceCap eballasts and I like the color but would always like to get better Par.

I have them. The have been great for growth. They are very bright and have burned in to a crisp white. Ballast is SLS Galaxy E ballast.
Phoenix 14K on the left.......................................................................Iwasaki 14K on the right

I just bought a pair off my buddy that were 3 months old so i didn't get to see them burn in but im reallly happy with the spectrum at this point... very crisp, perfect ammount of blue in my opinion too.

Not yet! I have not had any spare time to do things like that. Been helping out around the house with the new baby.

I like the right side, makes the Phoenix look like moonlight.

I like the Phoenix side better. The Iwasaki 14K looks too white for a 14K bulb.

Actually, the phoenix bulbs are too blue for a 14k......the Iwasakis are a true 14k bulb.

Then I like the Phoneyx better than the one with apparently the true 14K (white) color. Nice tank by the way.
