divorce lawyers

Someone requested info on a good lawyer for divorce...

That is an oxymoronic phrase... No such thing exhists for men..

Men wil get the short side of the stick, a good attorney will try to make it so you dont get the whole stick shoved up your arse...

Sorry to hear about your situation, no matter who you are...

My suggestions are to get her to want the diverce and ther terms. If you two can agree to the terms, it will be 10 to 20 thousand dollars cheaper for both of you that you can apply to children should you have any, hopfully you dont have them...

If you dont agree, the court will be a bit more uptight and punish both of you, but since you are a guy, (I presume), you are getting the stick, and geting punished for your wife not agreeing to teh terms, so you get more of the stick...

Whatever you agree to, write it down, and get an attorney that will draw up the divorce settlement and stipulation, and submit the paperwork to the courts.

If you can do this, it will cost less then a grand...split both ways...

But if you are going to fight over things, THINGS, you are in trouble,

If you accept 1/3 of what you want, that is what you will end up with anyway, so there you go...

Make the choice and move on and get away from the biatch, and either learn from that mistake and never get married or tell the attroney you end up with that you will keep his number for the the next time...

Want a surprise? Go see what the numbers are when your wife doesn't work and you have 2 young children...

You MIGHT be able to afford living under a bridge...

MAYBE.

What's that saying? "It's cheaper to keep her?"

But, yeah, the men still get screwed more often than not.

Let's face it, though: in a divorce, NOBODY wins... Especially when kids are involved.

(And for the record I am NOT divorced... I just happen to have some experience in this subject...)

First she won't let you take home that new tank and now she cheats on you and take away your kids and all your money.

Food for thoughts. Are women necessary.

j.k

on the bright side of things... Britney just got her kids taken away.

I guess that 1-0 for our team.

i beendivorced for more then 12 years now, and it is nto as bad as it was, but I still hate teh biaatcchh!!

the short story for todays illustration (I know, you are all rolling your eyes, '.. yeah, right, short storuy... from bill?? Yeah, right, this I gotta see....' Cool, got your attention, now to prove it short!!!

The ex fought tooth and nail for full custody, (That is a negotiation ploy to ask for high and settle in the middle).. She fought and fought and claimed how dispruptive it would be to a 3 year old to go back and forth... (fast forward TWO EFFING YEARS..)

Divorce is final, judge smacks his little gavel, and outside the court room, (btw, she got 75% which caclutaed out to almost $500 for one child), outside the court room, she tells me she is going to community college for 'POTTERY' and she wont be able to pick up our daughter on Tuesdays and Thursdays and on the Saturdays which were HERS...

She didnt want to tell the court cause she thought it would extend the finaaaaalization and she could not afford to pay her attorney for another court visit...

Per the numbers, I went from @25% custody to 80% custody, right there...

The dollar amount would have been for me to pay $120 per month instead...

I have had that schedule for more then 10 years. Now, I pretty much have full custody, the daughter stays with me, and once or twice a month, she might go to her moms house for a saturday or sunday...

And before this gets too long, OKAY YOU WERE RIGHT! I got what I wanted nd would have paid that much money for this much time to begin with...

Bill - I'm sick and tired of you trashing this site every time you get a chance. Between your comments here and on the SCMAS thread I'm about 15 seconds away from putting a stop to it.

I think this is not a place to talk divorce, etc. This forum is supposed to be hobby-related.
