Hey Everyone!

I'm really glad I found this site! I live in Reynoldsburg, just East of Columbus. I've just started this hobby with a 55 gallon tank.

I didn't know there were so many people here from my area - How cool.

Since I'm so new, I'll probably have a million questions.

I purchased this tank from someone here locally that just couldnt keep it up anymore. I got a great deal on the "package"

It came with 55 gallon tank, stand, filter, heater, undergravel filter (I'm not using) 2 powerheads, about 100 lbs of live rock, sand, a large Tonga Coral, Branching Frog Spawn, A big live rock half covered in Anthelia, two really big clown fish and a Hippo Tang.

I'd like to get rid of the fish and get some that I really like so if anyone would like to do some trading, let me know (only the Clowns) The Tang is leaving tonight. I would also be willing to trade the leather coral, I really don't care for it.

I also have a couple Eheim Canister filters I'm not going to need. One is the 2213, the other the 2215.

I'm also looking for an RO filter if anyone has an extra one.

Thanks

Welcome!

Welcome to the hobby of reef-keeping.....now say goodbye to your savings account! Seriously though, you'll find the people on this site are extremely helpful so don't be afraid to ask!

I'd be interested in the ehiem filters, but I don't have much to trade. Send me a PM if you want to sell them.

Welcome to the site!

Be sure to search the used equipment forum when you are in search of specific hardware as well. Like uztaryn said, this site can save you a lot of money.

I think the Scarlet Cleaners have picked it clean.

Welcome to the group, there are a lot of dedicated reefers here.

Clownfish are great to start out with ( I did). One thing you can try is getting freshwater Mollys and dripping them for 6+ hours. The are inexpensive so you dont have to worry if you mess up. Also they are pretty hardy.

Welcome! I live in Reynoldsburg as well and often have to "thin" my tank a bit, so I may be able to pass some good frags your way!
