Seen Any Good Flashers Lately?

I'd like some recommendations for Flasher Wrasses for my 30.
I'm interested in keeping a male with a harem of about three females.

Anyone have Royal Flashers or Blue Flashers?

Also, is it best to add four juvies and let one of them develop into a male or add three females and then a male?

TIA

I just added this filamentosus to my 30g. Never really paid attention to flashers but this guy caught my eye and they are reasonably priced to boot!

Adding a harem of wrasses is a cool idea; however I think four would be too cramped in a 30. Flashers are small but like room to swim, you might do with a pair.

Wow! Beautiful fish everyone.

Texsun - What's the common name of it? My first guess is Filimented Flasher. Beautiful fish!

Cantonesefish- I'm not sure that only two fish would create the right community for them. I don't know enough about them.

Sorry about your loss wrasseguy2. Amazing fish!

SDguy- What type of wrasse is it? You could try putting a mirror up against the glass to provoke some territorial flashing.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'd definitely welcome more info.

It's a lineopunctatus. Very beautiful when flashing. But I don't care to provoke it

My fairies and flashers are afraid of mirrors. Whenever I try the mirror trick they swim away and hide in the reef.

I have a blue flasher and he looks great. Sometimes he flashes often and sometimes he dosent although it isnt hard to get him to flash if you want a show.

Okay. No Mirrors.

Vanity goeth before the leap...outta the tank.... then the fall.

So, one lonely male?
No harem?
No happenin' reef hot spot?

Poor fella. Why would I want to inflict that on another?
I feel his pain already.
