Thumbs up My 5.5g Ric tank

My 5.5g RICORDEA dominated nano. Its been up for close to a year.

Equipment:
Aqua Clear 50 HOB
Small Aqua Clear 20
8+ lbs of LR
2-3 inch SB

Livestock:
Clarkii Clown
Various hermits & snails

Dosing:
1 drop of Lugols every 2 weeks
capful of Kent Mag every month
Teaspoon of Calcium whenever needed
and lastly i have never done a water change on this tank.

I feed very little and every 2days if that. Plus theres alot of LR in there for such a small tank...

I dont recommend not to do WC's because i do on every other tank i have.

Nice looking tanki! I think I may go this route for my next tank. Probably a zoo/ric mix tank.

thats my focus as well, i have a 20 gallon filled to the max with 70 florida rics, 25 different zoas, and 5 acan lords. i also plan on keeping montipora in the future.

nice looking tank but im surprised you haven't gotten flamed for that clarkii in there...looks small as hell and i wann aget a pair for my 20 so badly but...

i went crazy with yumas and some melted while some others strived...and seeing tanks like this makes me wanna go crazy with yumas and rics...lps is sick but after seeing this i wanna get some more shrooms...great tank

thanks, the clarkii is fine, been in there since January. Why not get a pair for the 20g? I had a pair in my 30g...it shouldnt be a problem....
