DIY 2 part solution

Does anyone here using the two part solution for their reef tank? I am thinking about getting them for my Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium. It sound like a lot cheaper then Kent and other brand name.

What size tanks do you guys have?? I mean 30ml or a couple shots a day? How large of a tank does that feed? A couple shots a day can treat me quite well. :-)

Anyone have a link to a good thread about the DIY 2 part? I would like to learn more. I'm using b-ionic and that stuff is a bit pricy.

There is alot of discussion going on with the changes that are happening with dow ca chloride products and the serious increase in bromide.
I would recommend checking out these discussions in the chem forums. I think the "experts are still trying to figure out if the new formulation is going to be safe but worth checking out.
