zoo qustion

What would cause zoo's to grow a long stem's?
Also what causes zoo colonies to thin out?

zoanthids will have elongated stems if they are reaching for more light. however, some naturally have long stems.

as far as colonies thinning out, could be poor water quality, something eating them (like nudibranchs), etc...

Really all I have is a stock lighting for a BC 29 so
2 power compact fluorescent lamps, 10,000 K and Actinic
