A. Perc info

hey guys, hope someone can answer this for me.

I bought a pair of true Percs about 2.5 months ago. Unfortunately, they came down with brook, and I didn't catch it in time. So I left the tank fallow for about 2 months.

2 Weeks ago I went to the same LFS and looked at some more true perc pairs. I talked to the owner about what happened with my last pair, and he said if I put a pair on hold, he would keep them in their tanks with the copper running. So I figured this probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I came back a week later, and asked them to feed them, and found the male wasn't eating so well. So they said they would treat him and I could come back again in a week. They began to treat with a medicated dip for internal parasites.

one week later, I came back, and they both ate like pigs. So I picked them up and brought them home. They both are eating well (hikari pellets, cyclopeeze, mysis, and frozen formula one) but the male is starting to have some weird loss of color streaks on one of his pectoral fins. Now he is paired with the female, and it could be from her occasional nip at him, but I want to make sure that im not missing anything?

Its a 20H tank, approx 17lbs of LR and a 20L sump. 250w MH and 130 of PC light over it.

Temp: 79.4-81.2
pH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
Alk 2.5 meq/L
Calcium: 420

Thanks

Thats a heck of a lot of light for a 20H. How do you even fit the hardware over the tank?

Its an oddysea 24" fixture. It fits perfectly over my tank! And with the fan over my sump and my Reefkeeper controller, I've never had any temp problems.
